OK, I have to admit that I feel a bit exposed without facial hair. I can count on one hand how many times I have gone the "clean shaven" route in the past decade, mostly done for job interviews and such. It's a weird feeling that will only get weirder as the month progresses! I'm hoping the 'stache will be visible by the next update, so stay tuned... and keep Jess in your thoughts and prayers.
Oh Matt, you are amazing. Thank you so much for doing this, it's so special, so selfless, so thoughtful and overwhelming. I love the picture, you look just like when we were in high school...almost :) I'm so excited to watch your beard grow, it sounds so weird, but it's going to be such a fun, interactive science project! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You and AJ are so wonderful, and kind. I'm forever grateful for your friendship. You and AJ always lift Danny and I up, fill us with laughter, or we hug and cry after reading your kind words. You're priceless.
